Murphys Plastering provides professional internal and external plastering services across the Isle of Wight. All work is carried out personally by Tom Murphy using quality materials and proven techniques to achieve a clean, durable finish suitable for decoration or external protection.
INTERNAL
PLASTERING
Skimming and re-skimming of walls and ceilings to create a smooth, even surface ready for painting or wallpapering. Suitable for both repairs and full room renovations.
DRYLINING (PLASTERBOARDING)
Installation of plasterboard to walls and ceilings to create a solid base ready for finishing. (Often known in the trade as drylining or plasterboarding.)
FLOOR SCREEDING
Application of sand and cement screed to create a level and durable surface ready for final floor finishes such as tile, vinyl, laminate, or carpet.
TRADITIONAL LIME PLASTER
Breathable plastering system suitable for older or solid-wall properties, helping manage moisture and maintain the character of traditional buildings.
EXTERNAl
SAND AND CEMENT RENDER
A durable external coating applied to walls to protect against weather while improving appearance and strength.
LIME RENDER
Traditional breathable render suitable for heritage and older properties where flexibility and moisture control are important.
